About

Built for the person who actually walks the building.

Most fire inspection software is sold to fire protection contractors: scheduling, quoting, invoicing, technicians in trucks. Very little of it is built for the facility manager who has to show, every month, that someone looked at every extinguisher across every site.

FireGuard started as a tool for a single industrial site whose paper tags kept failing audits for the most boring reason imaginable: the month someone was on vacation. The fix was not more software. It was a QR code, a one-minute checklist, and a reminder that would not shut up.

What we believe

  • The checklist is the training. Anyone on staff should be able to do the monthly inspection correctly the first time.
  • Records are evidence. Time-stamped, attributed, photographed, exportable, never silently edited.
  • Nobody should pay per seat to be safe. Pricing follows the equipment, not the people.
  • We do not sell compliance. FireGuard shows what was inspected, what was missed, and what is still broken. Whether that satisfies your fire marshal is their call, and we say so.
  • Narrow is a feature. We do monthly and annual extinguisher compliance extremely well and leave dispatch and invoicing to the contractor platforms.

Who is behind it

FireGuard is built and operated by FireGuard HQ, a small independent software company in Ohio. You will get a reply from a person who can change the code. Say hello at hello@fireguardhq.com.
