Features
Everything the monthly walk needs. Nothing a contractor's back office needs.
FireGuard is deliberately narrow: it makes the NFPA 10 monthly inspection fast, makes the record permanent, and makes the reminder impossible to ignore.
Inspect
Scan. Check. Submit.
- QR code labels. FireGuard generates a printable QR label for every extinguisher. Scan with any phone camera; no app store install.
- 15-point NFPA 10 checklist. Location and access, physical condition, pressure gauge, pin and tamper seal, labels and tag. Pass, warning, or fail with notes.
- Photo evidence. Snap the gauge and seal; the photo is stored with the record. An optional, experimental AI observation can flag an off-range gauge or broken seal for a human to review. It never passes or fails an inspection by itself.
- Offline first. Inspections in a basement or parking deck are queued on the device and synced when the signal returns.
- Service records, kept separate. Record your contractor's annual maintenance, six-year internal exam, and hydrostatic test dates per unit, clearly distinguished from your own monthly checks. Unknown dates show as unknown, never as current.
Stay ahead
Due dates that manage themselves.
- Automatic monthly cycle. Each inspection sets the next due date. Units turn due soon seven days out and overdue the day after, and units that were never inspected are listed as exactly that.
- Email reminders and digests. Daily overdue alerts, a weekly summary, and a monthly report, each respecting quiet hours and time zones.
- Missed-inspection view per site. Current, due, overdue, never inspected, and failed-and-unresolved, for one building or fifty, with who inspected last.
- Roles that match real teams. Admins run the account, managers run locations, inspectors inspect. Unlimited users on every plan.
Show your evidence
Reports that answer the inspector's question.
Site summary
Every unit's status for a period, by location: current, overdue, never inspected, and open issues.
Inspection history
The full timeline for a single extinguisher: dates, inspectors, findings, photos.
Overdue report
Everything past due, how long, and where. The list you fix before the audit.
Annual audit
A year in one PDF for the fire marshal, insurer, or OSHA records request.
All records exportable to CSV on every plan. Retained a minimum of three years while your account is active, longer than the 12 months NFPA 10 ยง7.2.4.4 requires for monthly records or the one year OSHA 1910.157(e)(3) requires for the annual maintenance record.
